Whether your goal is to relax in your grand new master bedroom suite, hang out in your new family room, prepare meals in your new elegant kitchen, or just relax on your new sun porch; our experience has shown that planning and preparation are key to the success of any project.

Strong Builders believes proper planning before the construction phase ensures quality results at the end.  We provide skillful management, and communication in an effort to make the construction process as transparent and stress free as possible.

The Planning Phases include:
Step I
1.   Initial meeting with client to outline budget, find specific project needs, and receive check for preliminary planning and drawings.
2.   Review lot survey, check measurements, easements, local codes, zoning and property setbacks.
3.   Discuss project with the Architect and request a budget for their services.
Step II
1.   Sign contract with owner, subtracting amount for preliminary drawings, and receive mobilization fee.
2.   Meet with Architect to review specifics and have blueprints drawn up.
3.   Review condition of existing systems (roof, electrical system, plumbing, and HVAC).
4.   Pre-planning meeting with subcontracting trades to obtain price quotes.
5.   Finalize design, any changes, and budget with client.
6.   Submit final plans and energy efficiency forms to the Building Department for approval.
7.   File Notice of Commencement, pick up approved plans and permit.
8.   Review final budget, and begin construction phase.

The initial costs associated with these steps, planning, development and preliminary drawings, are part of the overall budget, and they are deducted at the time of signing the contract.

After construction begins, Strong Builders meets with you regularly to discuss the schedule and any other site-related issues.
Once again, you are involved every step of the way.
